First Ever 50/50 Raffle for The Heritage Appeal a Resounding Success!
RHQ SCOTS are delighted to announce the success of our first ever 50/50 raffle, which raised an impressive £260. The appeal, aimed at respecting those that serve today, remembering those who have gone before us and investing for the enduring benevolence of our soldiers, our veterans and their families, was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and generosity from participants.
The lucky winner of the raffle, Derek McAllister, walked away with £130 as his share of the prize. However, in a heartwarming gesture of goodwill and community spirit, Derek has chosen to donate his winnings back to The Heritage Appeal. Accompanying his donation, Derek shared a festive message: "Merry Christmas to all the Jocks!"
This incredible act of kindness has not only doubled the impact of the funds raised but has also highlighted the strong sense of camaraderie and support for our appeal. The total amount of £260 will now go directly towards furthering the important work of The Heritage Appeal, ensuring the preservation of our history and honouring our past and shaping our future.
