Since the formation of the Regiment in 2006 the Trust Fund has supported many serving soldiers and veterans through the awarding of grants for welfare and wellbeing purposes. This has included grants to support serving and veterans in times of need, grants for Regimental Association events that bring our serving, veterans and families together and grants for challenging adventurous training expeditions and for sporting events.
The Charities income comes from the serving soldiers who sign up to the Service Days Pay Giving Scheme where they donate a day’s pay a year to the Trust Fund. Additional income is received from the kind donations from the members of the public who recognise the contribution of the Regiment to society and the defence of our Nation and wish to support the welfare and wellbeing our serving soldiers and our veterans.
