THE ROYAL REGIMENT OF SCOTLAND - OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Since its formation in 2006, battalions of The Royal Regiment of Scotland have been on near constant operations in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan and have supported the United Nations (UN) in Cyprus.
The Ministry of Defence and Government use a Codeword to describe each operational area. The list below includes the following operations:
