Introduction. SCOTS Association 20th Anniversary Golf Championships will take place, Thu 18 Jun 26, at Strathmore Golf Centre, Blairgowrie, Perthshire PH11 8NZ.
Attendance. This event is open to all SCOTS Association members (all serving and veterans) and antecedent Association members. Please sign up to secure your place and enjoy the event with fellow service persons and veterans in a friendly and enjoyable environment.
Timings to be confirmed closer to the event date:
- 0900-0930 - Arrival for breakfast (bacon roll and coffee).
- 0945 - Welcome and format brief.
- 1037 - First tee, subsequent tees 7-8 min intervals thereafter.
- 1430 - Lunch (soup and a sandwich).
- 1500 - Prize giving.
- 1530 - Estimated departure.
Format. The round will be played over 18 holes. After lunch there will be the prize giving. For fairness the maximum playing handicap is 28.
Prizes. Best scratch, runner up scratch, best handicap, runner up handicap, nearest the pin, longest drive and wooden spoon.
Dress. Golf attire.
Cost. The cost is £45 per head for SCOTS Association members and former HLDRS. The cost for antecedent Association members is £60 per head.
Golf buggies. There are buggies available but these will need to be booked in advance by the golfers who require a buggy.
