Introduction. The SCOTS Officers’ 20th anniversary Black Hackle dinner night will take place on Fri 27 Mar 26 in The Sheraton Grand, Edinburgh and all Officers are strongly encouraged to support this event.
Attendance. The dinner is open to all SCOTS regular, reserve, antecedent and cadet officers, serving or retired.
Timings and Format. Officers are to arrive at the Sheraton Grand at 1845hrs for welcome drinks followed by some Highland musical entertainment before we enjoy a three-course dinner with wine / port which will be served in the Edinburgh Suite at 2000hrs. A cash/contactless bar will be available throughout the evening.
Entertainment. Guests will be entertained with music from our Pipes and Drums and the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Seating Plan. The tables will be of 10, Officers who wish to sit with certain others should indicate this when purchasing a ticket including if they have a table name in mind.
Dress and Accommodation. Dress for the evening will be black tie/dress with miniature medals. It is an individual’s responsibility to arrange any accommodation requirements.
Cost. The cost per head will be £120. Officers who are currant members of the SCOTS Officers’ Fund will have their cost subsidised to £75. If you are unsure if you pay into the Officers' Fund please contact the Regimental Adjutant - scott.mcfadden102@mod.gov.uk.
Retirement Presentation. Any SCOTS Officer who will be retiring in 2026 and would like their SCOTS Officers Fund Retirement Presentation presented at the BHD will need to annotate when purchasing a ticket. All SCOTS Officers Fund retirement presentations must be ordered by the individual Officer via the Regimental Adjutant NLT Fri 16 Jan 26.
Booking. Officers wishing to attend the dinner should scan the QR Code or click on "Book Now" at the bottom of this page which will take you to our Givergy page where you can purchase tickets by no later than Fri 13 Mar 26.
Cancellation Policy. Cancellations made on or before 31 Jan 26 are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations received after 31 Jan 26 will not be eligible for a refund. This includes non-attendance, late cancellations or failure to notify RHQ SCOTS in writing. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.
