SCOTS Muster, March and Remember - Sun 23 Mar 25
1. Introduction. The SCOTS All Ranks Muster, March and Remember will take place on Sun 23 Mar 25 in Edinburgh.
2. Attendance. The Muster, March and Remember is open to SCOTS regulars, reserves and veterans. Partners are welcome to join the Church service. The Church service is not mandatory to attend.
3. Timings and Format. SCOTS are to muster on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade at 0945hrs for a complimentary coffee and bacon (or haggis) roll courtesy of the SCOTS Association. Thereafter SCOTS will form up at 1005hrs behind the Regiment's Pipes and Drums and their respective SCOTS Association branch standards. At 1010hrs SCOTS will step off and march down the Royal Mile to our Regimental Kirk at the Canongate. On arrival there will follow a short service commencing at 1030hrs where we will remember our fallen colleagues (it is not mandatory to attend the Church service). The SCOTS Band will accompany the service which will finish at 1100hrs.
4. Dress. Dress for the Muster, March and Remember will be smart civilians, SCOTS Glengarry and medals. (Remembrance Day attire).
5. Numbers. To aid planning (coffees, bacon rolls, size of parade for council road closures, seats in the Kirk) if you intend to participate in the Muster, March and Remember, please click on the ‘Book Now’ button at the bottom of this page by no later than Fri 21 Mar 25 and include the following information:
