SCOTS Association Annual Golf Championship

Introduction.     The SCOTS Association Annual Golf Championships will take place on Thursday 22 June 2023 at Strathmore Golf Centre, Blairgowrie, Perthshire PH11 8NZ.

Attendance.     This event is open to all SCOTS Association members (all serving and veterans) and where numbers permit antecedent Association members.

Timings and Format.     Arrival 0930hrs for breakfast (bacon rolls and coffee) and a briefing at 0930 - 1015hrs. 18 Holes with the first tee off at 1037hrs and 7/8 minute intervals thereafter in groups of 4, lunch at 1500hrs approx. (soup and sandwiches) followed prize giving and depart approx. 1600hrs. For fairness and to give everyone a chance the maximum playing handicap is 28.

Prizes.     Best scratch, runner up scratch, best handicap, runner up handicap, nearest the pin (Hole TBC) longest drive and wooden spoon. For those who won major prizes and the wooden spoon please return these this year.

Dress.     Golf Attire

Cost.     The cost per head will depend on the final numbers attending but it is estimated it will be in the region of £49.  SCOTS Association members and former HLDRS will have their cost subsidised by the SCOTS Regimental Trust Fund and the HLDRS Trust fund.  Payment will be made on the day at the club pro shop, please liaise with Kev before payment to confirm how much you owe.

Buggies.     There are buggies available but these will need to be booked in advance by the individual.
